Manage every client in one place
Invite, assign your staff and switch between clients.
For Nigerian accountants and bookkeepers who manage several client businesses.
Each client approves your access, then you work inside their live books.
Simplebks gives your firm one login for every client business. Each client approves your access and chooses what you can do, then you work inside their live books: financial statements, VAT and WHT reports, journals and bank reconciliation.
Your clients run their sales, stock and purchases on Simplebks, so the books you review are the books they are posting to today. You are not waiting on an export or a spreadsheet.
Financial statements (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance and Cash Flow) and VAT and WHT summaries for each client, bank reconciliation from day one, and every client's monthly management report in their Report Library. Add clients one by one, or upload a spreadsheet of up to 100 client owners and Simplebks invites each one.
Use the sign-up link on this page. It selects "I represent an accounting firm" for you. There is no application and no approval from us, and you sign in like any business. Sole practitioners choose "I am an accountant / sole practice".
Open Accountant clients in the sidebar, choose Invite a client, enter the owner's email and business name, pick staff and rights, and send. Or add many clients from a spreadsheet.
The owner signs in with that email, chooses the business to share, reviews the rights and approves. The owner can change the rights before approving. Nothing is shared before this.
Switch to the client from your workspace menu. Access runs for 90 days. The client can renew it or revoke it at any time.
Your firm uses the same Simplebks plans as any other business. There is no per-client fee. Each client keeps their own plan, and each of your staff assigned to a client takes one team seat on that plan. What you can use in a client's books depends on the client's plan and on the rights the client ticks. Extra team seats can be added on Basic, Professional and Enterprise. See plans and pricing for the plans.

A business on the Free plan has one seat, and the owner uses it. It needs Basic or higher before it can connect an accountant.
No. There is no per-client fee and no separate firm price. Your firm uses the same plans as any other business, and each client pays for their own plan.
Yes. You send an invitation to the client owner's email. The owner signs in, chooses the business to share, reviews the rights and approves. No access starts before that.
The client owner. On the approval screen the owner ticks the rights you get. A basic set is pre-ticked: financial statements, VAT and WHT reports, the monthly management report, and view access to journals and bank reconciliation. Everything else needs a tick, including posting journals and changing tax settings.
The client needs a free team seat for each of your staff assigned to them. Journals, the chart of accounts, opening balances, bank reconciliation, the Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow and VAT and WHT reports need the client to be on Professional or Enterprise. The Profit and Loss report is available from Basic, and every plan gets the monthly management report.
A firm account is a normal Simplebks account with the client tools added. It has its own plan, its own team and the usual Simplebks features.
Bring your clients into one login.
