Can I keep selling when the network goes?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. An approved till keeps selling for up to 24 hours with no connection, then syncs by itself. Free, Basic and Professional need a connection to sell.
Does Simplebks handle VAT and withholding tax?
Yes. VAT and WHT reports sit on the same books as your sales. Simplebks works the figures out on the records you keep; you or your accountant file the returns.
Can I control what my staff see and do?
Yes. Each person gets a role and sees only what you allow. When someone lacks the permission for a discount, refund or credit sale, a supervisor can approve by PIN at the till or from the approvals queue.
Can my accountant work inside my books?
Yes. Your accountant works in your own account, not a copy. You approve the access by email, choose what they may do, and set an end date. Each accountant uses one user seat; the pricing page shows the users each plan includes.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Every new business gets 14 days with every feature, and no card is needed to start. If you do not pay when the trial ends, nothing is deleted.
Does Simplebks manage hotel rooms and bookings?
No. For hotels it covers the restaurant, bar and shop side: tables, tabs, kitchen and bar orders, stock and accounts. It does not manage hotel rooms, bookings or check-in.
