This page applies to the Simplebks website, marketing pages, web application, mobile application, administrator tools, APIs, free business tools, support channels, and related services that link to or reference this policy.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the conduct standards that apply to anyone using Simplebks. It is designed to protect customers, business records, integrations, infrastructure, and the integrity of the platform.

2. Lawful and Responsible Use

You may use Simplebks only for legitimate business, administrative, educational, or operational purposes that comply with applicable law, regulations, contractual obligations, and professional standards.

3. Prohibited Activities

  • Using the service for fraud, money laundering, deceptive trade practices, sanctions evasion, phishing, impersonation, or unlawful financial activity.
  • Attempting unauthorized access, credential theft, privilege escalation, vulnerability probing, security bypass, or abuse of sessions, tokens, or integrations.
  • Uploading malware, malicious scripts, harmful files, or any content designed to disrupt systems, steal data, or interfere with service integrity.
  • Circumventing plan limits, rate limits, role restrictions, approval controls, or product safeguards.
  • Scraping, copying, mirroring, benchmarking, reverse engineering, or mass extracting content or data except where we expressly authorize it.
  • Using the service to send spam, abusive outreach, mass unsolicited marketing, or harassing or threatening content.
  • Uploading or processing information you do not have the right to use, including personal data, confidential records, copyrighted materials, or trade secrets obtained unlawfully.

4. Record Integrity and Financial Misuse

You may not knowingly use Simplebks to create false invoices, fabricated journal entries, fake customers or suppliers, manipulated stock records, deceptive tax positions, falsified reports, or records intended to mislead customers, staff, investors, auditors, lenders, or regulators.

5. POS, Inventory, and Workflow Controls

You must use POS, inventory, cashier, refund, discount, override, loyalty, approval, and reconciliation features responsibly. Internal misuse by your staff remains your responsibility unless clearly caused by unauthorized intrusion or a defect attributable to Simplebks.

6. AI and Automation Use

You may not use AI-assisted or automation features to generate unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harmful, or rights-infringing outputs, or to mass-produce spam, misrepresentations, or unsafe instructions.

7. Security Cooperation

If we notify you of a suspected compromise, abusive integration, harmful automation pattern, insecure credential practice, or other material security issue, you agree to cooperate reasonably and promptly in investigation and remediation.

8. Investigations and Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, other users, or legal compliance obligations. We may also preserve logs, block IPs, disable integrations, require re-verification, or report serious misconduct to appropriate authorities or partners where justified.
