It is built for designers and fashion retailers who sell ready-to-wear and take orders that have to be made: a customer pays a deposit, the garment is cut and sewn, and the balance is collected on delivery.
Pre-orders (Professional and up) record the order, due date and notes. A pre-order moves no stock and books no revenue until the garment is made and handed over.
Take a deposit: it is kept as the customer's credit, applied to the invoice on delivery, and stays with the customer if the order is cancelled.
Production is on Professional and up. List the fabric, lining, zips and trims in each style and Simplebks works out the cost per garment.
Record materials and garments in one step; the batch goes for approval before it posts. Tailors' and seamstresses' wages are charged to the job: contract-staff production labour, not general payroll.
Connect your WooCommerce store on Professional and up. Products, variants, categories and stock go to the website.
Website orders arrive in Web Orders and are booked as sales when you confirm them, or automatically with auto-confirm.
Every sale and purchase posts to your accounts, and a customer deposit is held as customer credit until you deliver.
Profit and loss is on Basic and up. The balance sheet, cash flow, VAT and withholding tax are on Professional and up.
